Effective Date: October 6, 2026 (minimum age updated October 19, 2026)
Artists accept this version when they sign the artist terms. For everyone else, the changes from the September 30, 2026 version take effect 30 days after we notify you of them by email. The October 19, 2026 change to the minimum age in section 2 takes effect immediately, because it only widens who may join. The rules on saying you are paid, added to section 14 on October 28, 2026, take effect 30 days after we notify you of them by email.
By creating an account on CRWN ("the Platform"), accessible at thecrwn.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.
CRWN is operated by JNW Creative Enterprises Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and JNW Creative Enterprises Inc.
We may update these Terms. We will give at least 30 days' notice of material changes by email or in the app before they take effect, and changes apply only going forward. Artists are asked to sign substantive changes to the artist terms. A change to section 11 does not apply to any dispute that you or we gave notice of before the change took effect.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account on CRWN. If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, you may use CRWN only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for your use of CRWN, including any purchase or membership that renews. If the law where you live requires you to be older to use an online service without a parent's consent, that age applies to you. To create an artist account, sell on CRWN or receive payouts, you must be at least 18. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false or misleading information.
Fans may browse public artist pages, subscribe to artist tiers, purchase products from the shop, stream music, participate in communities, create playlists, and engage with content on the Platform.
Artists may upload and distribute music, create subscription tiers, sell digital products and experiences, build communities, and receive payouts through Stripe Connect. Artists are subject to the additional terms in the CRWN Artist Agreement.
Automatic Renewal: Paid subscriptions on CRWN (fan memberships and CRWN platform plans) renew automatically at the end of each billing period, monthly or annual, until canceled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings or by contacting support@thecrwn.app, and your access continues until the end of the current billing period. We will notify you before a price change takes effect; continued use after that date constitutes acceptance of the new price.
Upgrades: If you upgrade to a higher tier, you will be charged a prorated amount immediately for the remainder of your current billing period.
Downgrades: If you downgrade to a lower tier, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.
Shop Purchases: All shop purchases are final and non-refundable unless the product is not delivered as described. Contact us within 14 days of purchase if you believe a product was misrepresented.
Live Session Tickets: A ticket to a live session, including a seat in an Executive Producer Session, gives you access to that session at its scheduled time and to any replay the artist chooses to include. Once the session takes place, the ticket is final and non-refundable, including if you do not attend. If the artist cancels the session, or reschedules it to a time you cannot attend, you are entitled to a refund of the ticket price. Request a refund at support@thecrwn.app within 14 days of the affected session.
Tips: Tips sent to an artist (for example during a live session) are voluntary payments. A tip is not a purchase of goods or services and is non-refundable. Platform and payment processing fees apply to tips.
Who you are buying from: When you buy a membership, music, a product, a ticket or a credit from an artist on CRWN, the artist is the seller and is responsible for the content and benefits they offer, including membership benefits, promised content, and rewards in the artist's campaigns or promotions. JNW Creative Enterprises Inc. operates CRWN, collects your payment as the artist's limited payment collection agent, and appears as the merchant on your card statement. Paying CRWN counts as paying the artist. CRWN is responsible for running the platform, processing your payment and handling refunds under these Terms. If an artist repeatedly fails to deliver what they promised, contact support@thecrwn.app; we may act against the artist's account, and we may refund you beyond your cancellation rights at our discretion.
Purchased content: A song, project or digital product you buy outright stays available to you on CRWN even if the artist later removes it, except where it is removed because of a legal claim or a violation of these Terms. Membership access lasts as long as your membership. Songs you buy are streamed in CRWN; digital products and member files the artist offers as downloads can be downloaded.
Platform Fees: CRWN charges a platform fee on all fan-to-artist transactions. The fee is 12% on Launch (the free plan), 8% on Pro ($49/month), and 5% on Scale ($199/month). A partner offer can include a free trial of a paid plan; it does not change the platform fee. Stripe's card processing fees are currently paid by CRWN out of the platform fee.
You retain ownership of all content you upload to CRWN. Artists license their content to CRWN under section 3 of the Artist Agreement. If you are not an artist, by posting content such as a community post or comment you grant CRWN a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, display and distribute it on CRWN for as long as it remains on CRWN.
You are solely responsible for the content you upload and represent that you own or have obtained all necessary rights and permissions, including for every recording, composition, sample, featured artist, and likeness in it.
Indemnification: If you upload or post any content to CRWN (music, video, artwork, text or anything else), you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless JNW Creative Enterprises Inc., which operates CRWN, and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claim, lawsuit, demand, damage, loss, liability, settlement, cost, or expense, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to that content, including any claim that it infringes or misappropriates another person's copyright, trademark, right of publicity, or other right, or arising out of your breach of these Terms. This obligation survives the end of your account.
DMCA: If you believe content on CRWN infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent as described in our DMCA Policy. We terminate repeat infringers under the Repeat Infringer Policy on that page.
Treat all users with respect. No harassment, hate speech, threats, spam, scams, impersonation, or illegal content. Artists may moderate their own communities. CRWN reserves the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these guidelines.
Before you post, comment or chat in any community on CRWN, you must agree to our community rules, which are shown to you at that moment and are part of these Terms. In addition to the above, they prohibit pornography or sexually explicit images, anything sexual involving anyone under 18, graphic violence or content encouraging violence, self-harm or crime, sharing anyone's private information, and leaking an artist's unreleased or members-only content.
If you break them: your content may be removed by the artist or by CRWN; the artist may ban you from posting, commenting and chatting in their community; content reported by several users is hidden until CRWN reviews it; CRWN may suspend or terminate your account, with the effect on memberships described in Section 9; and threats or illegal content may be reported to law enforcement. To prevent spam, CRWN limits how often any account can post, comment and chat. Anyone can report content they believe breaks these rules.
Your use of CRWN is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
Do not use the Platform for unlawful purposes, attempt unauthorized access, use bots or scrapers, circumvent content gating, redistribute content without authorization, or upload malware.
We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, fan subscriptions are canceled; artists receive outstanding payouts within 30 days, less refunds, chargebacks, platform fees and any amount held under the Artist Agreement for a pending claim; and content may be removed.
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JNW CREATIVE ENTERPRISES INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
JNW Creative Enterprises Inc.'s total liability arising out of or relating to CRWN is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid CRWN in the 12 months before the claim (for artists, the platform fees CRWN kept from your sales). This does not limit an artist's indemnity or payment obligations.
11.1 Informal resolution. Before starting arbitration, the party with a claim must send a written notice describing it (to support@thecrwn.app for CRWN, or to the email on your account for you) and try to resolve it for 60 days.
11.2 Arbitration. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Artist Agreement, the artist terms, any launch addendum or launch agreement, or CRWN will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its rules in effect when the arbitration starts, including its Consumer Arbitration Rules where they apply. The arbitrator decides questions about the scope, validity and enforceability of this section. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section. Hearings may be held by video, or in the county where you live; otherwise in St. Louis County, Missouri. Fees are allocated under the AAA rules.
11.3 Exceptions. Either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court. Either party may ask a court for an injunction against infringement or misuse of intellectual property.
11.4 Class action waiver. Claims may be brought only individually, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective or representative proceeding. If this waiver is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim proceeds in court, not in arbitration.
11.5 Opt-out. You may opt out of this section within 30 days after you first accept these Terms, or a change to this section. Email support@thecrwn.app with your name, your account email and the words "arbitration opt-out."
11.6 Changes. A change to this section applies only to disputes first noticed after the change takes effect.
THIS CONTRACT CONTAINS A BINDING ARBITRATION PROVISION WHICH MAY BE ENFORCED BY THE PARTIES.
Governing Law: State of Missouri.
Order of documents: For artists, if these Terms conflict with the Artist Agreement, the signed artist terms, a launch addendum or a launch agreement, those documents control for their subject.

Mailing address: JNW Creative Enterprises Inc., 6135 N Lindbergh, Unit 42, Hazelwood, MO 63042
Sender: text messages associated with CRWN are sent by JNW Creative Enterprises Inc., the company that operates CRWN.
What the program is: JNW Creative Enterprises Inc. operates one automated SMS program, an internal operational alert. When an artist uses the optional "Get a call now" request on a CRWN calculator and qualifies for a conversation with our team, the system sends a notification to an authorized JNW Creative Enterprises Inc. representative with the information needed to identify the artist and return their call.
Recipients: only authorized JNW Creative Enterprises Inc. personnel who agreed in advance to receive these operational alerts. Artists, fans, prospects, and customers are not recipients of this program.
What we do not send: CRWN does not operate a marketing or promotional SMS program. We do not send marketing text messages to artists or fans, we provide artists with no tool for texting their fans, and we do not sell or rent mobile numbers.
Frequency: message frequency varies and depends on inbound requests. This is a low volume program.
Charges: message and data rates may apply. Charges from your mobile carrier are your responsibility.
Opt out and help: reply STOP to any message to stop receiving messages. Reply HELP for help. You may also contact support@thecrwn.app.
Giving us your number: providing CRWN with a callback number is optional and requires you to tick an unchecked consent box first. It means a CRWN representative may call or text you about the request you made. It does not subscribe you to a recurring or automated messaging program, and consent is never a condition of using CRWN or of any purchase.
Privacy: how we handle mobile numbers and text messaging consent, including the fact that we do not share, sell, or provide them to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, is described in our Privacy Policy.
CRWN may offer programs that let fans earn money, such as referral commissions when someone joins through your link, or clip commissions at a rate set by the artist. These terms apply to all such earnings.
Accrual and cashout: Earnings accrue to your CRWN balance as the underlying transactions settle. Cashing out requires a minimum balance of $25.00 and a connected Stripe account, including completing Stripe's identity verification. Earnings may be adjusted for refunds, chargebacks, and canceled transactions.
Taxes: You are responsible for any taxes on amounts you receive. We may require tax information and may issue tax forms where the law requires.
Say you are paid: Because you earn when someone joins through your link, the law (including the FTC's Endorsement Guides) requires you to tell people. Every post, message, caption or video that carries your link or promotes an artist you earn from must say so clearly, where people will see it before they tap, for example "I earn a commission if you join through my link." The text CRWN copies for you already says this; keep it. A link, a bio mention or a hashtag people have to search for is not enough, and you must not hide or remove the disclosure. Follow the paid-promotion rules of the platform you post on as well.
How you promote: You must not send spam or unsolicited bulk messages, make income guarantees or misleading claims about CRWN, an artist or what a membership includes, or present yourself as the artist, CRWN or anyone's employee or agent.
Breaking these rules: We check promoters' public posts from time to time and act on reports, which anyone can send to support@thecrwn.app. Earnings from promotion that broke the two rules above may be withheld or reversed, and we may remove you from the program or suspend your account.
Fraud: Earnings generated through fraud, self-referral, accounts you control, or artificial activity are void and may be reversed, and we may suspend the account involved.
Program changes: We may change or end an earnings program prospectively at any time. Balances already earned under the program rules remain payable unless obtained through fraud or through promotion that broke the rules above.
Unpaid referrals: Recommending CRWN to another artist outside of a written partner program is voluntary and unpaid. Compensation for partner referrals is governed by the Partner Program Terms.
CRWN publishes its own videos on YouTube using YouTube API Services. By watching or interacting with CRWN content on YouTube, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. How YouTube data is handled is described in our Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy.
