Your notice must include:
1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act for them.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed, or a representative list of works at a single site.
3. Identification of the material on CRWN that is claimed to be infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it.
4. Your contact information (name, address, phone number, email).
5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
When we receive a notice that substantially complies, we promptly remove or disable access to the material, including its purchase and streaming pages, and we notify the user who posted it.
If you believe your material was removed by mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice to dmca@thecrwn.app that includes:
1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the material removed and where it appeared before it was removed.
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
4. Your name, address and telephone number.
5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the district where your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, any district where CRWN may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the notice or their agent.
We forward valid counter-notices to the person who sent the notice. We restore the material in 10 to 14 business days unless that person tells us they have filed a court action.
Anyone who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages (17 U.S.C. 512(f)).
In appropriate circumstances we terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe. We record each valid notice against the account it concerns. An account with 3 valid notices within 12 months is terminated, and we may terminate sooner for clear or willful infringement. A notice that is withdrawn, or answered by a valid counter-notice with no lawsuit following, does not count. Terminated users may not open a new account. This policy applies to every account, artist or fan.
Claims by producers, co-writers, sample owners, featured artists or people shown in content that are not DMCA notices go to support@thecrwn.app.
